Image
# Raja Aqib ali The iPhone 5s is no longer Apple’s flagship but there are still some things that we think you’ll love about the former flagship even as we stare down a  possible iPhone 6s release this fall . In the fall of 2013, Apple took the stage and announced a follow-up to its popular iPhone 5. The follow-up wasn’t an iPhone 6. The iPhone 5s is no longer Apple’s flagship smartphone. That honor belongs to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the two devices that Apple released in September of last year. Despite its age, the iPhone 5s remains on the Apple Store as a budget alternative to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. FEATURES WINDOWS Is Windows 10 Free? Yes, and No. An Explainer

Image
Microsoft is set to release  Windows 10  on July 29th and users of current versions of the operating system will get an upgrade free of charge. That's what Microsoft has made abundantly clear since last January when it presented key consumer features of the new OS including Cortana, Project Spartan (now Microsoft Edge), DirectX 12, and Hololens, which seemingly runs some version of Windows 10. So where's the confusion? Since that announcement, Microsoft has sent mixed signals ( more   than   once ) and speculation has built on top of that about who gets the free upgrade and who doesn't, if Insiders get a free pass or not. Here's a brief overview of the different upgrade paths to Windows 10 that explains it all... Windows 10 for Insiders If you are an Insider (beta tester), there are three things you need to know: Microsoft is giving Insiders a free  upgrade  path   to the final release of the OS. This only means you will be able to upgr...

How to solveWindows 8 Boot Issues Easily? Try Fixing the Master Boot Record (MBR) or Boot Configuration Data (BCD)

Image
Windows 8  received a decent amount of enhancements on the desktop side that I tend to appreciate versus running Windows 7, even if that means I get Metro standing in the middle here and there occasionally. One such area of improvement is notification management and how it handles updates and system restarts. Running the final version of the OS for a few months now, it’s been a painless affair until this past weekend. I shut down my desktop PC with the purpose of connecting new hardware and on the way out I was prompted to “update and shutdown”. Sure, why not. I went on to install a secondary SSD for maintenance purposes and apparently that was enough for my system to refuse booting right after. I tried to backtrack to no avail. "Reboot and select proper boot device" I bet you have no love for the message, neither do I. Because I had disconnected a few devices, it took me a while to narrow things down to my boot SSD, and for a second I even thought the SSD ...
